Individuals with Bulgarian origin living outside of the Republic of Bulgaria are accepted to study at the University of Ruse “Angel Kanchev” according to Art. 4, par. 1 of DCM Reg. № 103/1993 for carrying out educational activities among Bulgarians living abroad and Art. 3, par. 1 of DCM Reg. № 228/1997 for the admission of citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia as students in the state higher education institutions of the Republic of Bulgaria.



Admissions for academic 2024/2025 year: The application according to the above-mentioned decrees is carried out through the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Bulgaria. Important:


All candidate-students for Bachelor's degree who are classified for admission by the Ministry of Education and Science are obliged to present all paper documents they have submitted electronically in the system of the Ministry of Education and Science when enrolling at the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev". For those students who are turned 18 years old is obligatory to have police clearance certificate (PCC) - this is needed for Migration office.

Notes:

  1. Students enrolled on the basis of Decree of the Council of Ministers Reg. № 103/1993 and Reg. № 228/1997 during the first year of their studies receive a scholarship for 12 months, for each month separately.
  2. Every semester thereafter, students will receive a scholarship if their grades (GPA) for the previous two semesters are at least 4.00, with all exams successfully passed.
